Description:
Facing brick made entirely with red-baking diluvial clay from the Meuse valley. The clay is cast in one throw, which accounts for the characteristic irregularities and ribs of the finished brick. To obtain a dark red to aubergine- shaded brick, different natural oxide are mixed into the mass. The firing process then results in these dark red to rusty aubergine shades. Slight colour variations from one batch to another are possible.
