Facing brick made entirely with red-baking diluvial clay from the Meuse valley. The clay is cast in one throw, which accounts for the characteristic irregularities and ribs of the finished brick. As a result of this method of manufacture, the bricks feature rich to varied colours, varying from white
and yellow-brown, with a background tone ranging from brown to dark brown and purple. Slight colour variations from one batch to another are possible.
